In 2003 Dan left his job as a product designer at Dyson and moved to Cornwall to realise a long-held desire to set up a business, and live, a short walk from the beach. Five years on he is a short drive….but getting there!
Ashortwalk is now Dan’s business, which has an ethos that good design goes beyond purely aesthetic appeal to create products that have an inherent functional benefit for people.
Dan is committed to sourcing and developing innovative new materials aimed at saving our wonderful planet, but at the same time providing unique, clean, beautiful products that seek to improve both our home and global environment. Dan’s sundial made from recycled plastic coffee cups is one such example.
